Terry Crews has a massive platform and is by all accounts a proud husband and father with a Black wife and children. For some reason, the strong-necked actor has taken up a crusade to be a member of the All Lives Matter crew and his latest goofball tweet is further proof of just how lame he’s become.

While his motives aren’t completely known, it can be assumed that Crews is taking a shot at the current strike situation within the NBA and other peaceful protests in support of Black women and men who have suffered under the weight of racial injustice. In previous times, Crews has framed the Black Lives Matter as a so-called “Black Supremacist” organization.

Trotting out the tired “#blacklovemattes” hashtag, which serves to upend the weight and true intentions of the Black Lives Matter movement, Crews is getting the attention he wanted although the response he’s getting so far isn’t at all positive. One such point Twitter users are making is that Crews, by his own admission, was addicted to porn thus him taking aim at the popular Atlanta strip club is telling.

Of course, Crews has supporters that, unsurprisingly, are of a lighter hue. Peering deep into MAGA moshpit abyss, Crew seems content with being contrarian and difficult despite the justified outrage and anger over the violence and mistreatment levied towards Black Americans in recent times. Several users on Twitter remarked that will all that’s going on in the world today, Crews had an opportunity to use his influence to stand alongside his people, not against them.

Terry Crews is facing backlash once again over his controversial thoughts regarding the Black Lives Matter movement.

On Tuesday (June 30, 2020), the America’s Got Talent host took to Twitter to address the ongoing social justice movement, which saw global protests against police brutality and systemic racism.

“If you are a child of God, you are my brother and sister. I have family of every race, creed and ideology,” he wrote. “We must ensure #blacklivesmatter doesn’t morph into #blacklivesbetter.”

However, the message wasn’t well-received by fans – including recent BET Awards host Amanda Seales, who responded by calling his post “unintellectual and irresponsible.”

“You are developing into an enemy of the people. Ignorance will be your downfall,” she insisted.

Seales was previously one of several celebs to call out Crews after he shared another controversial tweet regarding social change last month, writing: “Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy. Equality is the truth. Like it or not, we are all in this together.”

He later tried to clarify the comments, adding: “I was not saying Black supremacy exists, because it doesn’t. I am saying if both Black and Whites don’t continue to work together – bad attitudes and resentments can create a dangerous self-righteousness. That’s all.”

Following his most recent remarks, Crews shared a similar clarification, responding to a critique from Bernice King, the youngest daughter of Martin Luther King, Jr.

“We’re so far from that bridge, Terry… Justice is not a competition,” King wrote, as Crews shared: “You are right, @BerniceKing. I just want to make sure it stays that way. No competition, just creativity. #blacklivesmatter.”
